Cotton is an incredible plant that provides us with fiber that is used in all kinds of ways. While I remember those beloved cotton dresses and blue jeans from childhood, cotton became an integrated part of my life much later. My affinity really started when I began working with cotton farmers. Since then I have learned so much about the way cotton is grown, used and the people involved. It is astounding to me how many dimensions there are.
Cotton where my passions for nature, incredible people and photography all collide. It launched me into an incredible career but is so much more. The people, the products… they go beyond my day job to a truly personal connection. A connection that grew roots so deep that years ago as I joined Twitter I began going by JPlovesCOTTON.
Sharing that passion online has introduced me to so many people and places. I had hundreds of posts before I even started this site. And there are so many more ideas to come now that there is a single focus.
As Hundred Percent Cotton grows, it will serve as a hub for information about the crop, the processes, the products made with it, etc. I have talked with friends who also love cotton and the various facets of it and hope some of them will be writing posts here too.
And because I love travel, photography and a wide range of other things, you can catch up with those passions at JPlovesLIFE.
Thank you for spending time here. Please let me know what questions you have, what ideas you have related to cotton and more by using the contact page that you can find in the navigation bar aove! I love hearing from people!
