I should add in the photo on my main rotator, the cotton there also has a pink spray painted ribbon on it. That is a special kind of temporary paint and will disappear in the ginning and knitting process. 🙂

It is just like saran wrap and is put around the cotton to keep it packed in there for transport to the gin! It is put on in the cotton picker as it it let out and then will be cut off at the gin.
