Giving Thanks While Working My Blog

There is so much for me to be thankful for and this time of year makes it common place to take a little time and express our thanks. I have a few posts coming up on the things I have to be especially thankful for, but I wanted to make it fun for the folks who are supportive of my blog too.

A meeting I went to this week gave me the idea with a cool prize to give away. That should give us a few things to be thankful for! It’s a nice padfolio with a letter-sized notepad. Black with the seal of cotton embossed on the front with a cotton logo pen as well!  I have some other groovy cotton paraphernalia that I can use for other prizes as well. But for now, I’ll simply tempt you with a photo.

I don’t have a major set of rules but I figured I should make a few:

  • The winners will be determined by a simple drawing.
  • Eligibility for that drawing will be determined by two different ways of interacting on my blog. 1) Subscribers — anyone who subscribes to my blog by email (above right under “get notified”) or 2) has commented on any of the Cotton 101 blog posts (email address must be provided)
  • Deadline for eligibility is by 6 p.m. central time on Tuesday, November 23, 2010.

Notification of winners will be on the blog and I will contact winners individually by email to get a mailing address (no worries, no spam will result from this!) Hopefully, I can get things in the mail over the long holiday.

    Great idea!

Don’t miss any new posts!

My Cotton Rec!

I’m fairly picky about fabrics — I want cotton that is quality that lasts. Keeps its shape. That’s why I’m sharing this link. I truly believe in the products.  I get a referral fee for you using the links.

For years now, I’ve bought myself dresses and leggings, that show my love of writing, science, etc. from Svaha. I’ve bought gifts too — seriously awesome socks for kids with awesome women on them!
